Kansas State officially added 14 new players on the early Signing Day on Wednesday, so we turned to our resident recruiting experts JT VanGilder and Drew Schneider. Of course, most of us know about Jake Rubley, the highly touted young quarterback who seems most likely to take over whenever Skylar Thompson decides his career is over at Kansas State, if not before. But there are some other names you’ll want to know as well.
Devrin Weathers is an exciting young running back from Missouri and Gaven Haselhorst from Hays is a linebacker who can deliver a hit. Hopefully Austin Weiner can follow in the footsteps of his dad, Todd, and his Gardner High School teammate Davonte Pritchard should add some athleticism to the K-State defense. We talked about all those guys and more while mixing in some in-depth discussion of the Wildcat assistants as well as praise for a very special 15th recruit for Chris Klieman and his staff.
