Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Kansas State fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
This weekend, the thing which nobody here was really waiting for: the Big Ten starts its 2020 football season.
In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, fans were asked if Big Ten teams — who; again, haven’t played a game yet — should have been ranked in the Top 25 this week while the rest of the Power Five except the Pac-12 are deep into the season.

Despite those results, when asked who the #3 team in the country should be those same fans still said Ohio State. At 43%, the Buckeyes ran away with the poll, although without a clear majority.

The Big Ten showing up in the latest Top 25 isn’t a surprise — after all, they became eligible for the poll again 12 seconds after announcing they’d begin play this weekend and have been clogging up the works for a few weeks now. What is a surprise: Coastal Carolina making its first-ever appearance in the poll at #25. This week’s third question was to ask fans if they even knew what a Chanticleer is. (It’s a chicken, but definitely not a blue one.)

20th-ranked K-State was, of course, off last Saturday. That means there was no reason whatsoever for y’all to decide you’re no longer confident in the program, so the number remains pegged at 100%.
