The Oklahoman’s Scott Wright says Spencer Sanders is the real deal and this Oklahoma State offense is dangerous, but the Cowboys may have some trouble stopping Kansas State’s rushing attack.

Kansas State’s headed to Stillwater this weekend to take on Spencer Sanders and the Cowboys, so we spoke with The Oklahoman beat writer Scott Wright about what to expect from OSU after they let a big win slip away in Austin. As you’d expect, he’s high on skill players like Spencer Sanders, Tylan Wallace and Chuba Hubbard, although the running back may be taking on too big of a load early in this season. The more concerning issues for the Cowboys are a questionable defense that has struggled to stop the run in its past 3 games.

We also discussed whether any frustrations are building with Mike Gundy given Oklahoma State’s recent dip, and just how long the 52-year-old man might stick around in Stillwater. Scott also gave some insights on what O-State fans think of this week’s game being broadcast on ESPN+, and they’ll probably sound familiar.
