Samuel Davidson Hardin (b. Aug. 12, 1999) is a walk-on defensive back from Trinity Academy in Wichita. He redshirted in 2018 and is majoring in biology.

Hardin played under head coach Jared McDaniel at Trinity, where he was named a first-team all-state quarterback by the Kansas Football Coaches Association in 2017, while he was an honorable mention selection by The Topeka Capital-Journal and The Wichita Eagle in both 2016 and 2017.

He was named the Knights’ Offensive Most Valuable Player as both a junior and senior as he became the single-season and career passing leader in yards and touchdowns.

Hardin compiled 3,894 passing yards and 48 touchdowns over his final two years, in addition to 1,312 rushing yards and another 12 scores. He prepped with current K-State offensive lineman Ben Adler and also lettered two years in basketball.

Hardin is the son of Steve and Amy Hardin, both of whom attended K-State. His mother, Amy, played basketball for the Wildcats.
