#50 Travis Ochs
There once was another slightly undersized K-State defender who wore No. 50 and played with a nasty streak. Just ask Eric Crouch about Travis Ochs. Inspiration for Elliott Strahm?

Elliott Lane Strahm (b. Aug. 6, 2000) is a defensive tackle who walked on from Sabetha High School and plans on majoring in agribusiness. He is quite likely to redshirt in 2019.

A four-year letter-winner for the Bluejays under head coach Garrett Michael, Strahm was a two-time first-team all-state selection by The Topeka Capital-Journal and The Wichita Eagle.

He also was named to the top-11 team by both organizations in 2018 after playing both offense and defense, helping Sabetha to earn two straight state championships and a combined 26-1 record over his junior and senior seasons.

Strahm also helped the Bluejays to limit teams to just 10.1 points per game in 2018, while he blocked for a rushing attack that averaged 310.7 rushing yards in 2018 and 325.4 rushing yards in 2017.

He totaled 152 career tackles and 13 career sacks, including 39 tackles and three sacks as a senior, and also was a three-time state qualifier in wrestling and a state champion in 2018, while he was a three-time state qualifier in the shot put.
