Walk-on tight end Logan Long was the newest player to take over Zach Trujillo’s No. 85. Perhaps a change in coaching staff will give him a chance to catch some touchdowns, too.

Logan Jay Long (b. May 24, 1999) is a walk-on tight end prospect from Woodward in Oklahoma. He redshirted in 2017 and played in the 2018 spring game, but had no statistics.

Long, who did not see any playing time in 2018 as a redshirt freshman, played his senior season at Woodward High School under head coach Craig Hixon.

He earned all-state honors in 2016 from the Oklahoma Coaches Association, was selected to play in the 2016 101 Classic Bowl and graduated as the valedictorian of his class.
