It’s a late short slate today so let’s not waste any more time.
Basketball
Kellis Robinett brought us his weekly Q & A, and it’s a basketball heavy session. The most pressing question seems to revolve around next year’s starting line up, and if the Wildcats can return to the NCAA tournament after losing three key seniors.
In basketball alumni news, former Wildcat Breanna Lewis helped lead her team to the WABA Championship. She scored 14 points and 7 rebounds in the championship game. (Corbin McGuire, kstatesports.com)
Baseball
It’s opening day in the Major’s today so let’s all enjoy the nice warm spring weather, crack open a cold one, and remember that this could be anyone’s year.
Hopefully those thoughts will help you move on from K-State’s loss last night to Wichita State, 8-5. After falling behind 7-1 early in the game, the Wildcats stormed back scoring two runs in both the 7th and 8th innings before a final Shocker run in the bottom on the 8th put a nail in the Wildcats coffin.
