Slate: The BatCats drop a close one in Cali.

The BatCats dropped last nights game against Cal Baptist 7-6 losing in a walk-off. They continue their opening California swing with a game Friday night.

Baseball

K-State dropped last nights game against California Baptist, 7-6. The Wildcats couldn’t hold on after taking a 6-5 lead in the top of the eight. Sophomore Jaxon Passion was charged with the loss after pitching 1 and 23 innings, giving up 4 runs only one of which was earned. (Staff Reports, Manhattan Mercury)

Next up for the BatCats is the Tony Gwynn Legacy event in San Diego on Friday where the Wildcats will play Fresno State.
