Slate: Big 12 fines K-State for Storming Field

Apparently you get a fine for storming the field at K-State and TCU, but not at KU. Also notes from football and recapping last nights basketball win.

Welp. TB’s apology article proved somewhat prophetic as the Big 12 conference reprimanded and fined Kansas State following students storming the field after last week’s upset over OU. TCU was also fined and reprimanded for their field storming against Texas. The Big 12 also saw fit to reprimand KU but felt a fine would be a step to far...after all when only hundreds of people instead of thousands storm the field can it really be considered an unsafe environment? -Greg Rahe, KVOE.com
