After another bye week, Kansas State returns to action desperately in need of a win against TCU, a team facing a very similar situation after losing badly at Iowa State last week. Frogs O’War co-editor Melissa Triebwasser went so far as to call this a “Bowl Eligibility Bowl” and it’s hard to disagree, even though we’re still in the middle of October.
Naturally, we had to ask her about old friend Alex Delton and what he’s done to lose the starting spot to freshman Max Duggan, who hasn’t exactly been tearing it up. However, Melissa argues that’s not entirely his fault and she’s hopeful the TCU rush defense can do well enough to keep Kansas State’s effective running game from making its long-awaited return.
Melissa also talked about Gary Patterson and how he’s potentially just a few years out from a Bill Snyder situation, so perhaps it’s time to find an exit strategy. Make sure to check out all the content from Melissa and others over at Frogs O’War and you can follow her on Twitter @thecoachmelissa.
