We’re running at little late today at Bring on the Cats, so you get an abbreviated write-up for tonight’s action.

Your Kansas State Wildcats enter tonight’s game on a 2-game win streak, and both games have needed late comebacks to secure. But the Cardiac Cats appear to be back in full force, as Dean Wade returned to the lineup, as a starter no less, against Iowa State and logged over 20 minutes of game time. The return of Wade gives the Wildcats a much-needed boost as they head into the teeth of Big 12 conference play, where K-State currently sits at 2-2 (12-4 overall).

The Sooners enter today’s game also at 2-2, but have played the Big 12’s top 2 teams on the road (@ Tech and @ KU, both losses), and beat #25 TCU at home last weekend. The Sooners are playing solid defense this year, which has boosted their overall level of play. But, like K-State just a couple weeks ago, the Sooners are dealing with some injuries, though none so far in the starting lineup. We’ll see how much the shortened bench affects the Sooners tonight against the Wildcats defensive pressure.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for a 6:01pm CST tip-off, and will be available on ESPN2 with Mark Neely (play-by-play) and Chris Spatola (analyst) on the call. You should also be able to access the game on WatchESPN.com/ESPN3.

You will also be able to listen to live audio across much of the K-State Sports Network with with Wyatt Thompson (play-by-play) and Stan Weber (analyst) calling the action. The game will also be available streaming for free online via the TuneIn app/TuneIn.com and at www.kstatesports.com/watch. Satellite coverage is also available at XM 380 / Internet 971 (probably the OU broadcast). Live stats are available at k-statesports.com, and Twitter updates (@KStateMBB) will also be a part of the coverage from K-State Athletics.
