Kansas State’s focus today should be solely on a tough road game at Oklahoma, but after that the ‘Cats will need to quickly turn their attention to TCU heading into another challenging home game this Saturday. We spoke with friend of the podcast and TCU Associate Director of Communications Steven Schoon about how the Frogs were handling two straight road losses to Kansas and Oklahoma, plus the confirmation of Jaylen Fisher’s absence for the “foreseeable future.” We didn’t know it at the time, but it looks like they’re doing just fine.

Steven shed some light on TCU’s defensive improvements and what makes Alex Robinson such a special point guard, good enough that he reminds Eric of some pros you’ve probably heard of. We also discussed how the Horned Frogs and a talented recruiting class have made up for the loss of talented seniors Kenrich Williams and Vladimir Brodziansky, and why TCU remains a program on the rise with its first NCAA tournament win since 1987 likely not too far away.

You can check out all of Steven’s great work on the TCU athletics site and also follow on Twitter @SchoonUp. Just try not to give him too much grief for supporting his alma mater (except when they play TCU) in its quest for a 15th straight conference title.
