The junior receiver from Stone Mountain, Ga., had four returns for 108 yards, including an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown that cut South Dakota’s lead to 24-19 with about 12 minutes left in the game. (The Wildcats would go on to take the lead when Zuber caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Skylar Thompson.)
This is Zuber’s first conference Player of the Week award. Other players of the week recognized by the conference included West Virginia quarterback Will Grier (offensive), Oklahoma linebacker Curtis Bolton (defensive), and Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard and TCU receiver Derius Davis (co-newcomers).
