Cornelius Ruff IV (b. Oct. 31, 1998) is a walk-on running back from Schlagle High School in Kansas City who is majoring in business administration. He redshirted in 2017.
A four-year letter-winner at Schlagle under head coach Dwayne Williams, Ruff was a first-team all-state honoree by The Topeka Capital-Journal and The Wichita Eagle in 2016 after rushing for 2,019 yards and 27 touchdowns.
He set the Wyandotte County record with more than 4,000 career rushing yards, while he accumulated 45 touchdowns during his three-year prep career.
Ruff also earned all-metro honors from The Kansas City Star. He had five carries for 31 yards for the White team in the 2018 spring game and also caught one pass for 8 yards.
