K-State announced a new concessionaire at Bill Snyder Family Stadium effective this fall, and many Wildcat fans are probably going to be pleased: Chick-Fil-A will be operating within the stadium during games.

Gene Taylor worked the deal with the owner of the local Manhattan Chick-Fil-A franchise, David Hamel. There’s no word yet on how in-depth the chicken giant’s in-stadium menu will be, although one of the signatures of the chain is its relatively tiny menu. The regular sandwich is a lock; whether the grilled version or their nuggets will be available is unknown.

The stands will be located in the pavilion in the south end zone and on the view level concourse.

This is not the last news we’ll be getting on internal stadium improvements before opening day. But it’s almost certainly the tastiest.
