Maxwell John Poduska (b. Sept. 4, 1999) is a walk-on punter from Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. Despite the wide-open competition, he is likely to redshirt.
Poduska played for the Lobos under head coach Mark Brook, and went 8 of 13 on field goals and 10 of 11 on extra points as a junior, with a 70-percent touchback rate.
He improved as a senior by going 10 of 11 on field goals and 17 of 17 on extra points, with a 97-percent touchback percentage.
Poduska was regarded as the best kickoff specialist and the No. 2 place kicker in the Class of 2018 by ProKicker.com. He also received a 4.5-star kicker rating from Kohl’s Kicking.
