The Big 12 Conference released its preseason All-Conference selections for football Wednesday, and two Kansas State Wildcats made the list.
Senior offensive tackle Dalton Risner was honored, along with senior defensive back Kendall Adams. Risner was a first-team selection at the end of the 2017 season, as well.
With two selections, K-State was part of a four-way tie for the sixth-most selections. Every team in the conference had at least one preseason honoree. Oklahoma led the way with seven selections, followed by West Virginia with four.
West Virginia senior quarterback Will Grier is the preseason Offensive Player of the Year. TCU senior defensive lineman Ben Banogu is the preseason Defensive Player of the Year. And Oklahoma freshman defensive back Brendan Radley-Hiles is the Newcomer of the Year.
The list is voted on by media representatives covering the conference.
