64 DAYS TO 2018 KICKOFF: DJ Robinson

In which BracketCat counts down the 64th day until the 2018 kickoff with a profile of offensive lineman DJ Robinson.

#64 Andy Eby
I still can’t find a photo of a K-Stater wearing No. 64, other than this one of Andy Eby from 2001. Do I think DJ Robinson is going to end up our starting center? No, not really, but I do the best I can with the cards dealt to me.

Darryl E. Robinson (b. Nov. 9, 1996) is a walk-on offensive lineman who transferred to K-State from Benedictine College. I think he has a redshirt available to use this season.

Robinson was a two-year letter-winner at tight end for the Ravens under head coach Larry Wilcox.

He helped Benedictine to earn a 9-3 record in 2017 and a trip to the NAIA Playoffs as the Ravens finished No. 12 in the final NAIA Top 25.

Benedictine went 7-4 during Robinson’s freshman season in 2016.

He also was a two year-letter-winner under head coach Mike Zegunis at Blue Valley High School Northwest, where he was selected to play in the Missouri vs. Kansas All-Star Game.

Robinson was a high school teammate of current Wildcats receiver Dalton Schoen. He also lettered in basketball and track and field for the Huskies.
