Previously

It’s a late slate today so we’re practicing a two a day. Yesterday was day 66 until Kansas State football, which means Aidan Mills got the breakdown treatment from BracketCat. Today marks 65 days until Wildcat football, meaning it’s Harrison Creed’s turn to be evaluated.

Volleyball

We’re light on news overall today, but a couple of Wildcats were awarded some honors. First up is Kylee Zumach a soon-to-be fifth year senior, who earned pre-season all Big 12 honors. It’s the second time she’s been names a pre-season all Big 12 player, as she was named to the team in 2014. (Staff reports, Manhattan Mercury)

Track and Field

Brett Neely was awarded the Big 12 Scholar/Athlete of the year in Track and Field, and in doing so became the first male at Kansas State to win that honor. Currently, Neely is focused on making the 2020 Olympic team. (Gale Rose, The Capital Journal)
