Cameron Paul “Cam” Cotton (b. May 6, 1998) is a walk-on tight end who redshirted in 2017.
He played under head coach Steve Hamilton at Elk River (Minnesota) High School, where he helped the Elks to earn a 13-0 record and a Minnesota Class 5A state championship in 2016.
Cotton earned honorable mention all-district honors playing both tight end and outside linebacker. He is the son of Brent and Janet Cotton, both of whom attended K-State.
Brent Cotton was a three-year letter-winner at tight end for the Wildcats from 1985 through 1987, while the former Janet Madsen lettered two years in basketball for the Wildcats in 1987-88, earning honorable mention All-Big Eight honors in 1988.
She made the first field goal by a women’s basketball player in Bramlage Coliseum history.
