AMS brought us the recap from last night’s game, as Kansas State beat up Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

Basketball

We’ll kick off our afternoon slate with last night’s win. The Wildcats are currently undefeated in their “Lucky Lavenders”, and there’s hope among the team that they get worn again this season. (Capital Journal)

Still recovering from an earlier foot injury, Kamau Stokes made his presence felt last night scoring 11 points off the bench, while also dishing three assist to help the Wildcats grab sole possession of fourth place in the conference. (Kellis Robinett, Wichita Eagle)

Even with last nights win the Bruce Weber Debate continues to rage among the Wildcats fan base. And it’s a debate that AD Gene Taylor doesn’t fully understand. (Tim Bisel, Capital Journal)

Baseball

Pitchers and Catchers reported for Major League baseball yesterday, and it’s 80 degrees here in Oklahoma City today. These two things can only mean one thing. Baseball season is upon us, and that’s true in Manhattan as well.

The Bat Cats season begins tomorrow, and head coach Brad Hill hopes his young team (14 newcomers including 11 freshmen) is up to the challenge of competing in a strong Big 12 conference. (Greg Wood, Manhattan Mercury)
