Welcome back to your regularly scheduled programming here at Bring on the Cats. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a nice recovery day yesterday. It’s an extremely light day for K-State news so you are welcome to use this as an open thread for today’s bowl games, or just life in general. But before we get started with the open thread shenanigans there are two pieces of actual news to get to.
First, some sad news to report. 16 year old Darrian Warmack, younger brother of Dalvin Warmack, was killed this past weekend in a vehicle accident in suburban Kansas City. Two other teens in the vehicle were also killed. Our thoughts, prayers, kind wishes, and sympathies go out to all the families involved in this tragedy.
Lastly, Ned Seaton penned an open letter to new Kansas State head football coach Chris Klieman. The general gist, we’re an under-dog school who values hard work, so if you work hard we’ll all be behind you....Not sure I agree with the sentiment expressed in the letter but judge for yourself.
