With official visits aplenty over the past weekend, it’s no surprise that the Kansas State Wildcats would pick up a commitment or two.
It started out on Saturday, when Michigan State transfer Hunter Rison announced via Twitter that he had committed to K-State. But the Cats weren’t done there. On Sunday, K-State picked up a second commit, Butler Community College freshman defensive tackle Tyquilo Moore.
Blessed to be in the position that I am today, but I am 110% committed to Kansas State University‼️‼️ #EMAW18 pic.twitter.com/lV9M6OqOIN

Moore recorded 10 tackles during his only playing season at Butler, including 2.5 for loss. The 6’4” 295lb defensive lineman, who prepped at White Knoll HS in Lexington, SC, will have three seasons the play three at K-State, and joins fellow Butler CC player Luke Sowa, a December grad who is already enrolled at K-State, on the trip up from El Dorado, KS to Manhattan. Moore is not currently rated by any of the recruiting services.
Be sure and check out his Hudl.com highlights where he shows some good skills, but is still a bit raw will need some work with Mo Lattimore.
