We’re combining all the pre-dinner games into one thread today, because the latter of the two happens to be taking place at the same time as a basketball game at Bramlage. So if you’re one of those people who’d rather watch a college football playoff game than a K-State basketball game (hey, we’re not judging), feel free to stick around here this afternoon.

Michigan (8-4) vs South Carolina (8-4)

Why you should watch: Because SB Nation’s own Ryan Nanni (@celebrityhottub) begged to be allowed to wear the Bloomin’ Onion costume, and Outback said he could if he got 10,000 retweets, and he did.

What, is there another reason?

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl

(12) Central Florida (12-0) vs (7) Auburn (10-3)

11:30am CT, ESPN

Why you should watch: Because the only unbeaten team in all of FBS has a real chip on its shoulder over being left entirely out of the conversation; indeed, the Knights wouldn’t even have made it to this bowl game if not for the automatic Group of 5 bid. Because this same team stunned Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl not that long ago. Because they’re playing an SEC team and you all like watching SEC teams fail. (Or maybe because you sort of like Auburn, we guess.)

Citrus Bowl presented by Overton’s

(14) Notre Dame (9-3) vs (17) Louisiana State (9-3)

noon CT, ABC

Why you should watch: Because LSU was sneaky good this year in Ed Orgeron’s first season, despite losing to Troy. Because Ed Orgeron, period. Because the opportunity to watch Brian Kelly fail again can’t be passed up.

Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual

Why you should watch: Because it’s a playoff game, silly. Because it’s Air Mayfield Express vs Chubb-Michel Consolidated Trucking. Maybe because nobody really likes watching West Virginia play basketball against anyone, even their own team.
