Previously
Yesterday, myself and Luke Thompson joined David Ubben to talk succession planning for Kansas State football, actual K-State football, and K-State’s dark horse candidacy for the Big 12 title in the latest installment of Bring on the Podcats. Ya’ll need to check it out. (I postponed watching Game of Thrones to be on the podcast so seriously go listen).
We’re now only 18 days until Wildcat football which means both Eric Hommel and Andrew Hicks received the roster countdown treatment from Bracketcat.
Football
Offensive line coach Charlie Dickey has found over his 30 years as a collegiate o-line coach that a flexible line is the best line. (Wichita Eagle, Kellis Robinett)
Soccer
This may have been covered a few weeks ago, but its a slow news day and it’s worth repeating. K-State’s soccer program is “miles ahead’ of there first season, according to coach Mike Dibbini. That’s a good thing, since this season will be the ‘Cats first year as a full Big 12 member. (kstatesports extra, Corbin McGuire)
