Thomas Gipson went through a lot at Kansas State, from Frank Martin to Bruce Weber, from a Big 12 title to a frustrating 15-17 season. He’s still playing basketball and remains close to the Wildcats program with frequent trips back to Manhattan and an appearance this summer with Purple and Black at The Basketball Tournament.
We talked about all of it on this week’s podcast, starting with Gipson’s recent French League championship. He still looks back fondly on his time at Kansas State, and he talked openly about some of the problems on that divided 2014-15 team. Finally, we got some insight into why Xavier Sneed and especially Dean Wade could be the keys to success for Kansas State next season.
Even if you’re in football mode right now, this is a podcast you won’t want to miss. You can follow Gipson on Twitter at @42Gipsonn.
