64 DAYS TO 2017 KICKOFF: Glenn Williams

In which BracketCat counts down the 64th day until the 2017 kickoff with a profile of offensive lineman Glenn Williams.

#64 Andy Eby
I couldn’t find a photo of a K-Stater wearing No. 64, other than this one of Andy Eby from 2001. Do I think Glenn Williams is going to end up our starting center? No, not really, but I do the best I can with the cards dealt to me.

Glenn Williams (b. Nov. 8, 1996) is a walk-on offensive guard who redshirted during the 2015 season and did not see any game action in 2016. He started at left guard for White in the 2017 spring game, which seems to make him Abdul Beecham’s backup.

Williams lettered two years at Coppell High School in Texas, including the final year under head coach Mike DeWitt.

A unanimous selection for first-team All-District 7-6A honors as a senior, Williams also helped the Cowboys to a 6-5 record and a trip to the state playoffs, while the team went 10-2 and earned a district championship his junior year. He also wrestled.
