The story of Kansas State’s incredible turnaround of the football team begins with an introduction the the tough and determined young man, Bill Snyder. In 1989, our football team wasn’t just last in their conference... they were last in the nation. Dubbed the toughest job in the nation, finding a head coach cut out for the job was not going to be easy. Sticking to his firm belief in finding the right fit for players, Snyder built a program from scratch and began to flourish.
