Bruce Weber Earns a Sixth Season at Kansas State

Acting AD Laird Veatch confirmed Bruce Weber will return as the men’s coach, plus the BatCats prep for Nebraska.

Interm Athletics Director Laird Veatch confirmed Monday what everyone had long suspected, Bruce Weber will coach at Kansas State next season. (Ned Seaton, The Mercury)

In recruiting news, Coach Weber attended the NJCAA Tournament last weekend to scout power forward, Shakur Johnson of Hutchinson. Johnson appears to have eliminated the Wildcats from consideration as his top 9 schools did not include Kansas State. (Ken Corbitt, Capital Journal)

Baseball

Following a sweep by Texas, the Wildcat hope to regain momentum with a weekday trip to Lincoln, Neb to face former conference foe, Nebraska. (Kstatesports.com)
