Football

We’ll continue with national signing day news, as the Wildcats expect to add a large group (14 to be exact) of recruits during today’s early signing period. (Kellis Robinett, Wichita Eagle)

Among those expected to sign is Arlington Martin DE Spencer Trussell, the #179th ranked player in Texas. (Mark Zeske, Fort Worth Star-Telegram)

Finally in some non-recruiting news, Jerry Kill has resigned from Rutgers following one season as their offensive coordinator due to health reasons. (Jim Hauge, AP via Wichita Eagle)

Basketball

Onto actual game coverage, as the Wildcats travel to the West Coast to visit Luke Thompson the Washington State Cougars tonight at 10 pm. (Kellis Robinett, Wichita Eagle)

It’s the final true challange for the Wildcats prior to the conference season, and Amaad Wainright hopes to continue his strong play off the bench. (Ken Corbitt, Capital Journal)
