Luke Thompson snagged The Oklahoman’s Jenni Carlson’s for his OU week edition of Bring on the PodCats. Everyone needs to stop what they’re doing and go listen. We’ll wait....
Football
Okay, now that you’ve listened to Bring on the PodCats, let’s start our slow news Wednesday.
First up, we have Jesse Ertz giving a motivational speech Monday prior to practice in hopes of sparking a season turnaround, beginning with OU. (Ken Corbitt, Capital Journal)
You never know which walk-on it’ll be, but every season it seems Kansas State turns a walk-on into a starter. This season is no different as Dalton Schoen has become a play-maker for the Wildcat receiving crop. (DeAundra Allen, The Collegian)
Basketball
It’s not an exciting match-up but it’s for a good cause, as Kansas State will take on Missouri State in an exhibition game. The game begins at noon Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum, and will raise money for the Red Cross’ hurricane ref lief efforts. (Greg Rahe, KVOE.com)
