Kansas State Freshman Earns All-American Honor

Reggie Walker, defensive end, is named All-American

The Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) announced their awards today and Kansas State defensive end Reggie Walker was among the 15 defensive players selected for this honor.

As no surprise to Kansas State fans, Walker earned a spot on this team with an impressive season featuring 11.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. This award has been around since 2001 and Kansas State fans have seen freshman like Ty Zimmerman and Matthew McCrane earn it as well.
