I’m not going to say that I might have started a spicy rivalry between fellow K-State commits Harrison Creed and Ben Adler, but I will say I planted the idea. By now you have read about Adler’s football skills and love for hot wings, so you are already aware of his Blazin’ Challenge domination. When asked about this seemingly impossible (to the untrained palette) task and if Creed was up to challenging Adler?
“Yeah I'd be down for a little competition.”
Just like that, we will now have a live coverage** of this competition.
(**probably not, but just go with it please)
At 6’5 and 310 lbs., Harrison Creed has a love for dogs and an impressive three star ranking on EPSN’s recruiting profile. Playing right guard in a small town like Ulysses, Kansas meant the impressive senior was going to get some looks from the coaching staff known most for scouting hard working players from small towns across the state. Not only did Creed play an impressive senior year, his season ended on a high note with being invited to play in the Blue-Grey All American bowl in Arlington, Texas at the Dallas Cowboys stadium.
Check out one of many highlight videos of Creed on MaxPreps:
Even though Creed has attested to his mild demeanor off the field, it is obvious that disappears once in his stance and protecting the pocket. Take a look at his highlight reels and see for yourself that Creed is going to be a great addition to the solid group of offensive linemen in the 2017 commitment class.
Recently we sat down with Harrison to talk about the upcoming football season and see how he was feeling with National Signing Day right around the corner.
Gracey Terrill: With the success of the 2016 Kansas State team, how are you feeling going into the 2017 season?
Harrison Creed: I feel great about it, and I'm really looking forward to it. We're only going to get better.
GT: The excitement throughout the K-State fanbase for the 2017 season is already building and the season is so far away, what are you looking forward to most about playing for K-State?
HC: I'm excited about the family atmosphere, and being a part of something bigger than myself. I'm also excited to be coached by one of the greatest, if not the greatest, college football coach ever.
GT: You recently went on your official visit to Kansas State… what were your overall thoughts? Favorite spot on campus?
HC: I had an amazing time. I couldn't have asked for a better visit. I haven't found a favorite spot yet but I'm looking forward to getting to know the campus more.
GT: One last question, if you could share one reason that you are excited to be part of the K-State family with other recruits… what would it be?
HC: I'm excited to carry on the torch and be a part of the K-State legacy.
Thank you to Harrison Creed for taking the time to answer my questions and we are all looking forward to the Blazin’ Challenge competition watching you dominate with K-State for years to come!
