The TCU men came into Manhattan ranked 24th on Monday, and went home with a big L. Now it’s the TCU women risking their position at the bottom of the top 25. Of course, that just means a seventh ranked opponent for the Cats since Christmas. Ooof.

The game

Kansas State (11-8, 3-5 Big 12) hosts the TCU Horned Frogs (13-5, 4-3 Big 12). The teams have only met 11 times, with K-State winning six; all six of those wins have come under the hand of Jeff Mittie, who is 6-1 against his former employer.

Reagan Pebley, who replaced Mittie in Fort Worth, now has the Frogs comfortably on the right side of .500 for her tenure, although she entered the season with an overall record of 48-47. Pebley, of course, is the former Reagan Scott, who starred at Colorado back when they were a Big 12 team.
