With the season off to a cromulent start, the Cats will wrap up the first homestand of the season tonight before heading out to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving Tournament Time.

The game

Kansas State (3-0, 0-0 Big 12) hosts the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (0-3, 0-0 Big Sky) in the first-ever meeting between the two teams. It’s been rough sledding so far for the ‘Jacks, who’ve lost two games you’d expect — to Arizona and Arizona State — and one jaw-dropper, falling to the Arizona campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

To put this in perspective, ERAU-Prescott is an NAIA school which didn’t start playing varsity basketball until 2015. Their win over NAU was the 16th win in program history. Worse, NAU led the game 25-9 at one point.

WOOF.

Odds

K-State is a 28½-point favorite. The over is 142, so Vegas expects an 84-56 Wildcat win, or thereabouts.

Tipoff

Monday, November 20 at 7:10pm CT, Bramlage Coliseum (12,528) in Manhattan, Kansas.

Tickets

$10 GA, $30 for 4, $5 each for groups of 12 or more. Chairbacks are $20.

Television

Men’s game airs on FOX Sports Kansas City with Ben Boyle and Stan Weber.

Radio

K-State Sports Network, with Wyatt Thompson and Matt Walters.
