For the first time in Byron Pringle’s career, the Big 12 has honored him with Co-Special Teams Player of The Week. The conference also honored three other first time selections Travon Blanchard from Baylor, Desmon White from TCU and Justice Hill from Oklahoma State. Pringle’s standout performance on special teams included his first career receiving touchdown.

Since the touchdown was intended for Dayton Valentine and swooped up by Pringle, Twitter users had a field day with it.

This marks the second week in a row that a Kansas State returner earned Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week. Looking ahead to conference play, Kansas State heads to Morgantown for a kick off of 2:30 p.m CST. Be sure to “like” us on Facebook to keep up with all the latest articles and news stories as we head into conference match ups this week. Not only will Kansas State be opening conference play, they will be doing so on the road in a fairly tough environment in Milan Puskar Stadium.
The crew here at BringOnTheCats.com will be previewing the opponent, keeping you updated on injury reports and then some! I will also be in attendance at the game and touring Morgantown for my own curiosity so be sure to follow us on Snapchat too!
Congratulations again to Byron Pringle and we look forward to this young man’s blossoming career at Kansas State!
