Kansas State Football Welcomes Josh Rivas

Another great commitment to Kansas State from a "homegrown" athlete!

Yesterday we reported that Kansas State added another talented athlete for our recruiting class with Ben Adler. Today we get to bring you more great news with the commitment from Josh Rivas, 6 foot 6 offensive tackle out of Hutchinson.

Recruited by Dana Dimel, Rivas was one of the standout prospects according to Randy Withers of Rivals:

Hutchinson (KS) offensive tackle Josh Rivas was one of the most physically imposing prospects at last month's Rivals Camp Series event in Kansas City. The 6-foot-6, 330-pound junior already has six Division I offers to his credit, and could add to his total with a strong summer camp season.

With such a powerful review, Kansas State fans can rest easy that the offensive line will be stacked with talent for years to come. Bill Snyder has been diving into the homegrown Kansas pool of talent and it looks like it is paying off with these young men!

Rivas now becomes the sixth member of the 2017 recruiting class, which now includes four Kansans. Looking forward to seeing another Kansas kid flourish in Bill Snyder's program!
