The Kansas State Athletics, Inc., Board of Directors has announced today that K-State Athletic Director John Currie has been given a contract extension through 2022. The extension does not raise his base salary, but does provide some more incentives and benefits. ADJC has led the department through the most profitable and expansive years in K-State history, but has received much fan criticism for handling of the men's basketball coaches, as well as some department-unfriendly PR situations involving former players and coaches.
