K-State and TCU meet in Manhattan tonight. It will be the final home game for K-State seniors Justin Edwards, Stephen Hurt and Brian Rohleder. It's been and up and down career for these guys, who look to close out on a high note.

As for the competition, eh. TCU has taken a step back after posting an overall winning record last season. Barring a miraculous finish with wins tonight against K-State and against Oklahoma, the Horned Frogs will be the 10 seed in Kansas City.

For its part, K-State can guarantee a .500 record with a win this evening. Doing so would almost certainly ensure an NIT appearance, as K-State is still a top 50 team by Ken Pomeroy's rankings, despite its 15-14 overall record. Additional experience for a young team can't be anything but good.
