In what I believe is the first-ever podcast previewing a weekday basketball game, our good friend Matt Wilson of Our Daily Bears joins KSUEMAW! and I once again to discuss K-State's home matchup with Baylor Wednesday night. The Bears have lost two in a row and are suffering from some of the same problems as the Wildcats, namely that they're undersized and 1-6 vs. currently ranked teams.
However, Matt says this can still be a great team when all the pieces are clicking, with dangerous players such as future NBA swingman Taurean Prince, absolute monster and possible future NFL tight end Rico Gathers, and small but creative point guard Lester Medford. On the bright side, Baylor has often been a different, not-as-good team on the road this season.
Of course, we also touch on some other important topics like K-State's bubble status, why KU's streak could finally end, Baylor's black and neon uniforms, and whether an extremely generous official scorer at Baylor when it comes to assists is a good thing. Have a listen and don't forget to read Matt's stuff at ODB and follow him on Twitter at @mattisbear.
