Fresh off another loss in Lawrence, K-State turns right around and gets a breather at home against the number-one team in the country. Lon Kruger brings his experience Sooners, and national-player-of-the-year frontrunner, Buddy Hield, to Manhattan. The Wildcats have been tough at home this season, but now Kamau Stokes is lost for the year to a team that already wasn't very good at shooting or protecting the ball.

Someone else will have to stop up. Maybe Justin Edwards ends his funk today, and Dean Wade hits a few shots, and Barry Brown heats things up. All that will be required, and maybe more, to overcome, Hield, Jordan Woodard, Isaiah Cousins, Ryan Spangler and Khadeem Lattin. Even at home. But hey, you only get so many shots at the top-ranked team in the country in your own building. Might as well make them count.
