K-State's tournament hopes may have been dealt a fatal blow on Wednesday, but they're still on life support. Step one to resuscitation: win a road game. Today is not the worst chance of that; Hilton Coliseum still looms, after all. But today does not present a road game which the Wildcats "should" win, necessarily... so coming out on the right side of the scoreboard today would at least help erase some of the stain from the home loss to the Baylor Bears earlier in the week.

A loss, on the other hand... well, let's just say that the Wildcats would probably only be able to afford one more if that were to happen, either at home to that school down the river or later in Ames. Heading into the Big 12 tournament with 13 losses doesn't seem like the most optimal method of climbing off the bubble.

On the bright side, this edition of the Travis Ford Rodeo seems to be dysfunctional and lost, and the only reason Oklahoma State is even a one-point favorite is the location of the game. If there were ever a time for the Cats to grab a contested road win, it's today.

EMAW, and Go Cats.
