The Men's basketball team lost a tough one last night at home to Baylor. All your recaps, starting with our very own KSUEMAW!'s Baylor Smothers K-State; K-State SID; Kellis Robinett at the Wichita Eagle/KC Star; Ken Corbitt at the Topeka Capital-Journal; Tyler Dreiling at 1350KMAN. Also, the Wildcats lost some sorely needed momentum from the OU win in last night's loss to Baylor (Kevin Haskin/Capital-Journal)

Jason Sager at Heartland College Sports opines on something we've often talked about a length on the comment boards, namely is there a double standard involving the K-State fan base?

The Wildcat football team has picked up it's first commitment for the 2017 recruiting class, Wyatt Hubert, a 6'3", 240lb DE from Tecumseh, KS (Shawnee Heights High School). Hubert is currently unrated by the recruiting services, but he had interest from KU, Missouri, and Iowa State. You can also watch him deadlift 520lbs, as well as check out some Hudl highlights.

Brandon Chatmon at ESPN has his recruiting wrapup for K-State. He thinks the Wildcats have finally found the answer to how to replace Tyler Lockett, but says plenty of questions remain on the O-Line. Chatmon's co-worker Jake Trotter has his preseason rankings for the Wide Receivers and Tight End groups of the Big 12; hint: K-State isn't rated well.

Former Wildcat great Clarence Scott will be given another honor. The K-State Hall of Fame and Ring of Honor member will be inducted into the Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame on Friday. Another well-deserved honor.

The Wildcat tennis squad traveled down I-70 for a match against the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday. The Cats picked up a couple singles wins, but were unable to stay with the Tigers, losing 5-2 on the day.
