Seems like I am breaking a lot of news about the awards K-State players are receiving right and left, but no complaints here! Below are the most recent awards from the Big 12’s annual roundup of talent within the conference.

Congratulations to D.J. Reed for earning Defensive Newcomer of the Year! What an accomplishment from this talented sophomore out of Bakersfield, California. Looking forward to watching this young man for a couple more seasons as a Wildcat.
#Big12FB: Willis topped the conference in forced fumbles this season for @KStateFB.

If you haven’t heard by now, Jordan Willis is a machine. Not only did the Big 12 Conference agree with Willis being the Defensive Lineman of the Year, they named him Defensive Player of the Year as well. Such an incredible career at Kansas State and we look forward to his inevitable success in the NFL.
As always, it is truly a great day to be a Wildcat!
