The media picked Washington State to finish dead last in the Pac-12 this season, and so far the 4-4 Cougars have done little to prove that prediction wrong. Lewiston Tribune beat writer Theo Lawson enlightens us on those struggles and also provides some positives for a team that could test K-State’s lack of size while it looks to push the tempo at the Sprint Center on Saturday.
We also explored similarities and differences between Bruce Weber and Ernie Kent, two coaches who made their name at the mid-major ranks, then found success at a big school before eventually failing and getting a second chance at a Power 5 program. One of them is known for having lots of energy and getting along well with the media. Can you guess which one?
