It’s the most wonderful time of year. Yes, we’re less than a week away from Kansas State’s Texas Bowl appearance against Texas A&M, so KSUEMAW! and I welcomed Olin Buchanan, football columnist for TexAgs.com He heaped plenty of praise on talented players like quarterback Trevor Knight, wide receivers Josh Reynolds and Christian Kirk, nickelback Donovan Wilson, and of course, all-world defensive end Myles Garrett. But to his credit, Olin also wasn’t afraid to call out some of the Aggies’ glaring weaknesses and question whether they really played up to their potential, especially in November.
We also spent some time talking about the history of these two programs, so if you’d rather not relive the most painful memories of that game, we’d understand if you stop listening at about the 34-minute mark. Then again, you might want to stick around to learn what Olin thinks Kevin Sumlin needs to do next season to save his job.
Be sure to read Olin’s work on the best A&M site in the business, and you can follow him on Twitter at @olinbuchanan.
