Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
There’s a good deal to be thankful for this year. K-State football is bowl eligible, and Bill Snyder is almost guaranteed win 200 this weekend (Robinett, Eagle). The K-State volleyball team is still in the running the earn an NCAA tournament bid. And the men’s basketball team (mostly Bruce Weber) has not embarrassed itself any since the end of last season.
Also to be thankful for today is is our own Bring on the PodCats, as Luke and Derek talked with KMAN’s John Kurtz who offered insights that only someone who closely covers the K-State sports programs can.
And there are Wildcats in action today, as your K-State women’s basketball team takes on NC State at 12:00pm CST in the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Paradise Jam. The game is available streaming live at FloHoops.com, and audio at K-StateSports.com.
There’s also an ESS-EEE-CEE game tonight, and there’s also No Fun League games today, including three teams that have former Wildcats on their roster. And there’s a boatload of college basketball on, including a 2013 Final Four rematch between Wichita State and Louisville at 1:30pm CST on ESPN.
Enjoy your Turkey Day and time with your family, and safe travels if you are out and about!
