Finally — a BlogPoll that's published in its relative week and at least an hour prior to the next set of Saturday games!
There was not nearly as much turbulence as last week. Other than Navy dipping barely out, the only dropouts were a trio of SEC team that lost in variably ugly road games (Florida to Tennessee, Georgia to Ole Miss, LSU to Auburn).
The largest jumps of 13 spots belonged to Boise State and West Virginia. I think the former was a poll correction by the voters, while the latter likely exposes some underlying bias among fans of a team poised to play West Virginia.
Arizona State jumped 10 spaces based on the strength of I'm not quite sure what, while Michigan State justifiably plummets 15 places after not only its putrid home loss, but also Notre Dame's continued tanking of its season.
(Note: This poll was compiled earlier in the week and thus does not take into account Stanford's loss at Washington.)
Poll results again once again are posted without analysis, due to being imminently ancient history in one hour:
Voters are myself, Jon Morse, JT VanGilder, Luke Thompson, PurpleBrunette, TheBigE, wildcat00 and KSUEMAW!
