The NCAA just officially charged Ole Miss with violations, so you know what to do, student section.

The student section will just have to make do without Marshall Henderson to mock.

Mississippi
(13-7, 3-5 SEC)
at Kansas State
(12-8, 2-6 Big 12)

Two teams which both went 10-2 in the main portion of their non-conference schedule, both really needing another solid non-conference win to boost potential resumes come mid-March. K-State is 2-1 against the SEC this year, which means a win would leave the Wildcats right in the thick of the SEC race.

You know, at least as far as we're concerned.

The game: Kansas State hosts the Ole Miss Rebels in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. It's also K-State Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend and the Coaches vs Cancer Suits & Sneakers game. You can never have too many promotions in one day.

The teams never played until 2000, but this will be their fifth meetting since then. Mississippi leads the all-time series 3-1, with all of those wins coming outside of Manhattan; the Wildcats finally got in the win column a little over two years ago with a 61-58 win over the Marshall Henderson-led Rebels at Bramlage. Both coaches have a 1-1 record against the other school.

Odds: K-State is a 7.5 point favorite on an over/under of 141.5. 74-67 Cats, says Vegas.

Tickets: Tickets are available for $25, $50 for chairbacks.

Television: ESPU at 1pm CT with Jason Benetti and Reid Gettys.

Radio: K-State Sports Network, with Wyatt Thompson and Stan Weber. Also available on satellite on Sirius 136/XM 199.
