Position: Defensive Back

Previous College: None

Projection: Third-String

Status: Preferred Walk-On

Ryan D. Mack (b. March 16, 1994) is a walk-on defensive back who saw significant action on special teams as a sophomore. He will look to retain his special teams duties while battling for more playing time at defensive back.

He prepped at Buford High School under head coach Jess Simpson, helping the Wolves to win three state championships and continuing our recruiting connection to the state of Georgia. He also lettered in track and field.

Mack arrived in 2013 as a running back, converted positions and redshirted. He did not see game action in 2014.

He played in 12 games last season, primarily on special teams, and logged three tackles, recording two on punt coverage and one on kickoff coverage. His stops came against UTSA, Kansas and West Virginia.
